game three: redskins 20, chargers 16

on their third game of the season and their second game at home, the redskins pulled out their 3rd victory of the season. it was not an easy game for the redskins, the chargers are tough and both teams played hard. while the charges were able to make the extra points on their second touch-down, the redskins extra point was no good which meant they were down 16-14. the redskins didn't give up and pushed through.

in the second half, the defense did their job. they held the charges and were able to pull off an amazing turn-over (way to go boys) and then it was the offense who had to work, and they did. the o-line held the line to enable them to score another touchdown to make the score 20-16. the score held while the clock wound down and the boys were able to celebrate. way to go redskins.

a big thank you to all our coaches, our AD's and the many parents who volunteer. i have been involved in organized sports for about 14 years with my boys and am proud to be part of this team.
